What’s LP Innovates?

I think that everyone has a little bit of an entrepreneurial tendency — it’s just a matter of figuring out the “what” and the “why.”

Having primarily worked with service-centered organizations and associations in my 20-year career (plus or minus a few), I have developed a true passion for helping businesses elevate to their potential. Associations strive to protect and promote their industries. Our best days as staff are the days when we learn that we helped a member out of a jam. Fostering connections, sharing resources, and advocating for the betterment of the industry deliver value and relevance.

Zooming out a bit more, I have found that I enjoy helping those working in the association trenches do their jobs better. What have I learned that can help someone else? In answering that question, LP Innovates manifested itself.

Having worked for associations of varying size and scope, I’ve gathered a colorful bouquet of diverse experiences, made plenty of mistakes, and learned ten thousand different lessons.

Through my experiences, I’ve learned to help my peers, colleagues, and counterparts bridge the knowledge gap between technology and application. I am not an IT professional, coder, or hacker. I am a communicator and a storyteller, and, yes, a bit of a tech nerd. I love learning how to use technology resources to enhance workflow, streamline operations, and deliver more value. And the advent of generative artificial intelligence provided a new path to trailblaze.

I’m here to help you do what you do better. My goal is you leave our interactions feeling empowered to try something new. AI is a strong focus here, but so are communications, engagement, and courageous actions.

Thank you for coming along on this ride. Wherever we go, I can assure you it will be fun.

As the famous Doc Brown (Back to the Future, Part I) said, “Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.”
